Brian Hackett, Systems Practice Director, Sun Microsystems UK

Brian is responsible for Sun’s Systems Business and Strategy in the UK. Leading a multi-disciplinary team whose charter is to develop solutions for HPC, Web 2.0 and Eco Datacentres, Brian advises customers and partners on which infrastructure will best meet their business needs from SPARC to X64 and Solaris to Windows.

Since joining Sun 18 years ago as an engineer, Brian spent 10 years in end user sales with a particular focus on financial services and the last eight years in sales management positions spanning fiancial services, partners and the SME market.

Brian's area of expertise is the UK server market. Brian holds an MA in Marketing and an HND in Computer Engineering.
