Brian Hackett,

Services Practice Director, Sun Microsystems

Brian is a member of the Sun UK executive management team and holds the position of Services Practice Director for Sun Microsystems in the UK
and Ireland. This new role of Services Practice Director brings together
the leadership for the Support, Managed, Professional and Learning
Services Sales, as well as the Professional Services Delivery lines of
business in Sun.

Since joining Sun 18 years ago as an engineer, Brian spent 10 years in
end user sales with a particular focus on financial services and the
last eight years in sales management positions spanning servers,
financial services, partners and the SME market. Brian has been the
leader of the Systems Practice in the UK since July 2007.

Brian holds an MA in Marketing and an HND in Computer Engineering.
