Caroline Ward, Director of Storage Practice for the UK and Ireland, Sun Microsystems
In her role as Director of Storage Practice, Caroline Ward is responsible for the leadership and growth of the Storage Business at Sun Microsystems for the UK and Ireland. Caroline's focus is to develop and implement a UKI strategy that identifies business value and market opportunity for Sun's Storage Business. To drive revenue and margin growth,improve Sun's high rates of customer satisfaction, and scale its business through a clear and successful partnering strategy.
Sun's Storage Practice provides both the direction and depth of expertise required to provide innovative, customer centric solutions that meet and create business opportunities. This is achieved by drawing on Sun's extensive range of storage, and Sun's other related products and services.
Caroline rejoined Sun in 2008 after a period at IBM as Business Unit Executive for its product business for the UK, Ireland and South Africa. Originally with Sun in 1999 Caroline was the Business Unit Director for Sun's Telco, Media and Entertainment business in UKI.
Prior to joining Sun, she held senior sales roles at both Hewlett Packard and Digital.
Caroline graduated from the University of Aston in Birmingham with a BSc Honours in Applied Human Psychology.
