Jim Craig, UK Software Marketing Manager, Sun Microsystems
Jim Craig joined Sun Microsystems UK and Ireland in July 2006, with
product marketing responsibility for Sun's software portfolio. Jim's
main responsibility is to take programmes to market that help address
customer issues in the areas of Sustainability, Service Oriented
Architecture / Business Integration, Identity Management and Virtualised
Desktops.
Prior to joining Sun, Jim worked as European Marketing Manager for
Novell, with responsibility for SUSE Linux and collaboration software.
Jim has also spent 9 years with Lotus Development and IBM, in various
roles, from technical pre-sales and technical marketing for Lotus Notes,
Lotus Domino, developer tools and knowledge management products and
services.
Jim is a regular speaker at industry events highlighting the various
software markets that Sun are involved with. He frequently works with
press and analysts to help them understand Sun's current product
strategy and provides routinely updates to Sun business partners and
customers.
