Paul Flannery, Partner Sales Organisation Director, UK & Ireland
Paul Flannery is Partner Sales Organisation Director (PSO) for Sun Microsystems in the UK & Ireland. Paul is responsible for building and enabling a strong channel to significantly grow revenue. He will also develop both the partner community and alliance strategy.
Paul brings a 360" view of Sun's business, having worked as a Reseller and a Sales Manager within Sun’s Channel Distribution Partners (CDP). He was also the UK Managing Director of one of Sun's top-5 Reseller partners, Access Computing, now part of Esteem. As part of that role, Paul transformed the business to deliver profitable growth and build a solid foundation for the company to be acquired, through the development and execution of fully invested business plans.
Paul’s career spans nearly 25 years in the IT Industry where he started as a Software Engineer, before taking roles in IT/Datacentre management, pre-sales and several management and leadership positions within Reseller, CDP and industry focused global positions.
