Simon Culmer, ISO Sales Director UK & Ireland, Sun Microsystems

With nearly 25 years industry experience, Simon Culmer leads the UK&I Industry Sales Team. He is responsible for driving Sun sales in all industry segments and major accounts across the UK and Ireland, as well as the development and execution of the strategy and programmes for sales operations in the region.

Simon originally joined Sun in 1985 where he held a number of management positions including the UK Sales Manager for Government and Defence. In 1995 Simon moved to Cisco Systems as Public Sector Sales Region Manager and went on to become, sequentially, Government, Retail & Services, Public Sector and finally Service Provider Operations Director. In 2007, Simon rejoined Sun Microsystems as Business Unit Director, Public Sector and Education, before taking on his current remit.
