Sue Wilkinson, Business Unit Director, Commercial

Sue Wilkinson has over 19 years experience working within the IT sector. She joined Sun UK as the Business Unit Director for Commercial in 2005 having previously held a variety of positions at Oracle for 11 years, most recently Director of Channel Sales.

Sue's roles prior to joining Oracle include a six year position heading up the Sun business for a Sun and Oracle reseller, and a merchandiser role working on the launch of the first Next Directory.

Since joining Sun Sue has been responsible for setting the vision and strategy for driving growth across Sun's UK and Ireland commercial business. Sue leads a team of 25 direct reports, which together is responsible for a diverse customer base covering multiple business sectors including retail, travel and transport, utilities, manufacturing and oil and gas.

In Ireland Sue's responsibilities extend beyond the commercial sector to include driving growth across the financial, telecommunications, media and government sectors.

Sue is a graduate in Biochemistry from Portsmouth University. Sue lives in Berkshire with her TV producer husband and their three children aged 3, 6 and 8.
