PARTNERING TO INCREASE SALES OPPORTUNITIES - ISV PARTNER PROGRAMMES - OverviewApplication Provider Resource Centre (APRC) There are a great many Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) currently developing applications within the UK, and Sun is very committed to working with this community of developers. Some ISVs will concentrate on a specific solution for an industry sector; others will focus on a type of solution that can provide benefit across all industry types, for example CRM. Applications can be either "off-the-shelf" or purpose built. Due to the large volume and variety of Application Providers, we manage the relationships either directly or via our Application Provider Resource Centre (APRC) programme. The programme has been specifically developed to ensure that customers benefit from fully integrated software and hardware solutions, and that ISVs have a mutually beneficial relationship with Sun. The APRCs are all Sun Enterprise Accredited System Providers, which ensures that they meet the demanding criteria of the APRC programme. They have the necessary technical knowledge, account management and marketing expertise to develop closer relationships with specialist ISVs to offer integrated IT solutions to their customers. The APRC programme will help at every stage - from initial product development through to marketing, sales and ongoing training and support.
