Complementary Products announce the VTL-Value Virtual Tape Library range of products (picture above).
The last five years have seen a disk based backup technology, Virtual Tape Library (VTL), become
adopted as the norm within larger organisations. The Complementary Products VTL-Value product
provides the same functionality as Enterprise VTLs but targeted at small and medium size businesses.
Complex configurations and emulations have been replaced with a simple one-click solution needing no
specialised IT skills or administration.Utilising low cost SATA drives to deliver 2TB to 24TB of capacity
and industry standard dual 1Gb Ethernet interfaces, the VTL-Value delivers the performance, reliability
and availability of disk based systems while enabling the use of existing backup software and procedures.
With 1drive, 24 slot or 2 drive 100 slot library emulations (depending on model), the VTL-Value comes
with connection licenses such as iSCSI and CIFS, Port Failover/Microsoft MPIO plus Adaptive Power
Management (APM) to conserve power and increase drive life expectancy by spinning down the disks
when they are not in use and bringing them back on-line the moment they are needed.

- All listed CP products are covered by a 1 year Return To Depot warranty except where noted. All custom products benefit from the manufacturer warranty and support.
