A dual 16A socket to single 32A plug power adapter that enables Sun Rack 900 and Sun Rack 1000 (when using the standard Sun Power Distribution System) to be installed at sites where only 32A power sockets are available.

Product Details:
This product allows two IEC309 16A (commando) plugs to be connected to a single IEC309 32A (commando) socket. It is ideally suited for under floor installation with Sun Rack 900 or Sun Rack 1000 Power Distribution Systems, and when installed in pairs and in conjunction with the existing rack power cords (X6829A), allows four 16A rack plugs to be connected to two 32A under floor power sockets.
The product consists of two IEC309 16A sockets and one IEC309 32A plug connected by 50cm leads to a central junction box. The junction box houses two 16A thermal circuit breakers which protect the dual 16A feeds, and can be reset through the use of a push button. There is no facility to manually trip the circuit breakers and they therefore can not accidentally be tripped (for example by a snagging under floor cable).
The product includes 12 months Return to Depot Warranty. Optional on site maintenance is available (not included with server maintenance).
