Sun Campus Ambassador Programme

Providing Students in Computer Science with the Means to Succeed

The Sun Campus Ambassador programme, is an initiative designed to build communities around Sun's free and open source platforms (OpenSolaris, Open SPARC and Java) and developer tools among Academic Developers (students, faculty and researchers).

Their role includes:

• Lead the Sun open source developer community.


• Run Sun Technology demo sessions.


• Promote Sun training events.


• Promote Sun's platforms and development tools to professors and researchers.

The Sun Campus Ambassadors will have an extensive knowledge of Sun's products and technologies, and therefore can be utilised as a point of reference for any questions you may have, for any Sun materials you may wish to source, and for any imput into Sun focused projects.
