Over the past 18 months we have established a regular programme of education events for the Sun pre-sales community. For the first time these brought both Sun and Partner employees together to share knowledge and experience.

You will be pleased to know that following the excellent feedback collected at these sessions we have decided to build upon them and deliver an enhanced programme over the next twelve months.

The newly tagged ‘Sun Technology Evangelists Programme’, STEP for short, will continue to offer a varied curriculum of events to ensure that you have all the tools you need to engage with customers in the field.

Transfer Of Information

You will hear from a selection of product specialists with Need-To-Know information on their new products and services:

  • How are our customers using Sun products to provide business edge?
  • How are we enhancing our products and and how do they meet the needs of our customers?
  • How do we integrate into existing environments?

Tech Days

Sun subject matter experts present an in-depth agenda on a specific technology or market sector and will often feature live technology demonstrations. The next two Tech Days will feature High Performance Computing and X86 Solutions.

Techcasts

This monthly lunchtime webcast will cover a single topic or product. Expect to hear from partner organisations such as AMD as well as Sun experts on topics such as modular storage over the coming months.
