SUN RECOGNISES ITS 2007 PARTNERS OF THE YEAR

LONDON, UK. – December 10, 2007 – Sun Microsystems (NASDAQ: JAVA) has recognised outstanding partner achievement by announcing the winners of its annual CxO Partner Awards. This year’s winner's were named as:

• Avnet Technology Solutions: CDP of the Year;
• Computacenter: Technology Integrator Partner of the Year;
• CopperEye: Software Partner of the Year;
• EDS: Services Partner of the Year;
• Esteem: Reseller Partner of the Year;
• IOKO: New Technology Partner of the Year;
• Q Associates: Marketing Partner of the Year;
• SAP: ISV Partner of the Year
• SCC: Most Innovative Marketing Campaign; and
• UKN: New Business Partner of the Year;

The annual awards were presented to recipients at a gala dinner at Dartmouth House in Mayfair on Thursday Nov 29th by Sun Microsystems' President and Managing Director for UK and Ireland, Kim Jones, and Director of Partner Sales for UK and Ireland, Paul Flannery.

The annual CxO Partner Awards are granted in the UK and Ireland as part of the SunSM Partner Advantage Program, which is open to independent software vendor (ISVs), resellers, channel partners, systems integrators and service providers. The worldwide program offers partners access to advanced Sun technologies and products, marketing and sales support, and education and training programs to assist partners build their skills and accreditation. It is designed as a flexible model, with a variety of focus and engagement areas, so as to work within the individual company business model and allow them to capitalise on their individual expertise and niche in the marketplace.
