- Perform system administration on the Solaris OS (courses available: Solaris Operating System Essentials for System Maintainers (SM-101), Solaris System Administration (SM-239), and Introduction to the Solaris x86 Platform Specifics (WS-2400))
- Recognize components of PC hardware or similar systems (course available: Sun Java Workstation W1100z and W2100z Maintenance and Troubleshooting (WET-4680))
