The Solaris 10 Differences from the Solaris 8 and Solaris 9 Operating Systems course provides students with the necessary knowledge and skills to perform the core system administration tasks that are described in the STS-276-S10 course on an x86 architecture. Additionally, it provides students with instruction about identifying authentication and security changes found in Solaris 10. This includes changes to password checking, features of least privilege, SCF, hardware acceleration for Internet Key Exchange (IKE), and IP filter firewall. Course Length7 hours
