The Managing Storage Performance with Hitachi HiCommand Tuning Manager 5.x course is a three-day, instructor-led training that provides the knowledge for using Tuning Manager software at a basic level to monitor, analyze, diagnose, and forecast system performance. It includes:

  • Hands-on experience using reports and alerts to proactively manage storage systems
  • Hands-on experience in problem reporting, resolution, avoidance, and storage management forecasting
  • Focus on Tuning Manager as it relates to application performance

The course does not cover installation or configuration of Tuning Manager software.

Prerequisites
Tuning Manager 5.0 or later software installed and configured in their environment. Minimal exposure to Tuning Manager software is a plus. Storage Foundations Certification Modular (THI0515), Storage Foundation Certification Enterprise (THI0517), or equivalent knowledge and experience with HDS storage fundamentals and storage systems is highly recommended.
